Children's Ministry @ MBC

MBC Children's Ministry is dedicated to excellence in everything we do for all our young children. We take your trust seriously and as such all of our MBC ministry volunteers are put through a local, state and federal screening procedure before they work with our children.

Our theme Bible passage is Psalm 139:14 “I will give PRAISE to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.”

MBC Children's ministry strives to engage children with the life-transforming power of Christ through the written word, to equip them to live as children created in the image of God, and to employ them to serve their Creator and others.

MBC Children's ministry values each child as God’s unique creation reflecting His image. We value the family as God’s design for our welfare. We treat each child and adult volunteer as a unique person designed by God with special abilities and individual learning styles. MBC Children's ministry promotes excellence in every area of service and life, because God is excellent in all His ways. As God’s creation we will seek to glorify Him in everything we do and say.

Our Classes

NEWBORN UP TO 2 YEARS

The MBC Nursery is a place where demonstrating God’s love is both intentional and evident. Parents are assured of their children’s safety and loving care as they pursue their own personal spiritual walk at Memorial.

PRESCHOOL

3 YEARS THROUGH 5 YEAR OLD’S

Preschool children enter a warm classroom environment in which to learn of God and have some fun. The children participate in individual and group games as well as share in a time of fun Bible teaching and singing.

ELEMENTARY

GRADES 1st through 3rd

Kids will begin a curriculum that will take them child through the Bible no less than two times before leaving the Children's Ministry (elementary grades 1-6). Praise Kids will be equipped as they grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus and His word and learn to reflect his character through their lives.

GRADES 4th through 6th

Kids in grades 4th through 6th continue growing in the grace of our Lord while being encouraged and challenged to know the Lord and His word on a deeper level.
