MBC KIDS
MBC Lil’ PRAISE KIDS ministry (Nursery – Kindergarten) and MBC PRAISE KIDS ministry (Elementary 1st-6th grades) are dedicated to excellence in everything we do for all our kids. We take your trust seriously and as such all of our MBC Kids ministry volunteers are put through a local, state and federal screening procedure before they work with our kids.
Our theme Bible passage is Psalm 139:14 “I will give PRAISE to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.”

MBC Kids ministry strives to engage children with the life-transforming power of Christ through the written word, to equip them to live as children created in the image of God, and to employ them to serve their Creator and others.

MBC Kids ministry values each child as God’s unique creation reflecting His image. MBC Kids values the family as God’s design for our welfare. We treat each child and adult volunteer as a unique person designed by God with special abilities and individual learning styles. MBC Kids promotes excellence in every area of service and life, because God is excellent in all His ways. As God’s creation we will seek to glorify Him in everything we do and say.

NEWBORN UP TO 2 YEARS
The MBC Nursery is a place where demonstrating God’s love is both intentional and evident. Parents are assured of their children’s safety and loving care as they pursue their own personal spiritual walk at Memorial. At this young age lil’ kids are introduced to group praise and animated Bible stories.

2 YEARS THROUGH 3 YEAR OLD’S
Preschool children enter a warm classroom environment in which to learn of God and have some fun. The children participate in individual and group games as well as share in a time of fun Bible teaching and singing.

4 YEARS THROUGH 5 YEAR OLD’S
Klubhouse Kids enter a safe classroom environment in which to learn of our Savior’s love, participate in group singing and enjoy some arts and crafts as well.
MBC’s YOUNGEST PRAISE KIDS - Room 132
ELEMENTARY GRADES 1 AND 2
Praise Kids will begin a curriculum that will take your child through the Bible no less than two times before leaving the PRAISE KIDS MINISTRY (elementary grades 1-6). Praise Kids will be equipped as they grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus and His word and learn to reflect his character through their lives.

ELEMENTARY GRADES 3 AND 4
Praise Kids in grades 3 and 4 continue growing in the grace of our Lord while being encouraged and challenged to know the Lord and His word on a deeper level.
MBC’s OLDER PRAISE KIDS - Room 134
ELEMENTARY GRADES 5 AND 6
Praise Kids in grades 5 and 6 meet for an exciting and relevant Bible teaching time and related activities.
Our AWANA clubs meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:05 to 7:30 pm following our Wednesday evening Fellowship Meal (5:15-6:00pm in Conner Hall). If you’re looking for the premier program to change kids’ lives, you’ve come to the right place! AWANA is the leading ministry to help local churches reach children and youth with the gospel and train them to know, love and serve Christ.
The AWANA club for preschoolers is built on two premises:
• Young children can and should receive spiritual training.
• Home is the primary place for spiritual training.
Our preschool program meets these needs through fun– and lots of it!
AWANA is fun with a purpose– to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program in to a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.
The AWANA club for children in kindergarten through second grade builds on the material taught in our preschool club. The aim of the curriculum is to take youngsters a step deeper in to God’s word while giving boys and girls regular opportunities to hear the gospel and come to faith in Jesus Christ. Sparks club meetings combine learning with fun to create an atmosphere of irresistible excitement every week.
The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of AWANA to teach third through sixth grade boys and girls the truth of God’s word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. Our goal is that many of today’s young people will become tomorrow’s spiritual leaders. T&T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow– today.
